Responsibilities:
1. becomes an expert in all processes and equipment in the production molding area.
2. creates and maintains process work instructions associated with all manufacturing processes, such as manufacturing assembly and in-process acceptance procedures.
3. develop and implement visual aids and physical samples at critical process steps to indicate appropriate acceptance criteria.
4. trains manufacturing personnel on published work instructions.
5. specifies, acquires, installs and validates manual, semi-automatic and fully automated equipment.
6. develops and executes process validation protocols and/or transfer plans and generates test reports.
7. creates and maintains process risk assessments, pfmea.
8. supports the investigation, disposal and corrective action of non-conforming materials.
9. establishes statistical process controls (spc) for manufacturing operations.
10. develops and maintains world-class manufacturing practices to ensure the capability of the company's products.
11. develops and implements cost reduction/process improvement programs.
minimum requirements:
* english 80% (mandatory)
* experience in molding areas (3+ years)
* knowledge of injection molding tooling and plastic molding process.
* able to coordinate several projects at the same time.
* organizational capacity.
* molding machine and process configuration.
* scientific molding/decoupled molding.
* peripheral equipment: material dryers, mold temperature controllers, hot runner controllers.
* software/computer skills: office (excel, word, powerpoint).
* experience in 3d solid works (desirable).
