We are looking for an experienced occupational doctor to provide comprehensive health services to our employees. It will be responsible for the promotion of health and safety in the workplace, the prevention and management of work-related injuries and illnesses, and the provision of health surveillance and surveillance programs. He/she will also be responsible for the development and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures. The occupational doctor will ensure that our employees are healthy and able to perform their duties safely and effectively.
*what you’ll do*:
- conduct yearly physical examinations to all the employees.
- analyze the workplace and make suggestions to reduce the likelihood of work related injuries.
- give advice on how to make the employees and the workplace healthier overall.
- monitor employees exposure to hazardous materials.
- conduct research related to occupational health issues such as chemical exposure or ergonomic hazards.
- maintain accurate records of patient diagnoses, test results, treatments, and follow-up care needs.
- perform administrative duties as needed, such as preparing reports and participating in meetings.
- coordinate the emergency response team for first aids.
- management of imss and stps proceedings after incidents.
Projects you’ll work on:
- perform ergonomic evaluations of work environments.
- develop health and safety policies and procedures.
- designing and conducting training programs for workers on topics such as safe lifting techniques or accident prevention methods.
- coordinate the services for our anual health fair and monthly campaigns.
- collaborate with other departments within the organization to promote a culture of wellness.
*what we’re looking for in you*:
- at least, 2 years of experiencie as an occupational doctor in manufacturing plants
- medicine degree
- ergonomic software
- technical skills - office 365
- communication, analytical and decision-making skills
- leadership experience
