This role is best suited for someone who is highly detail-oriented, experienced inquickbooks online, and comfortable handling several accounts simultaneously with minimal supervision. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close, and ensuring clients have clean, reliable financials at all times.what you'll be responsible for • manage day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients • perform bank, credit card, loan, and payroll reconciliations • handle accounts payable and accounts receivable • maintain clean and accurate general ledgers • set up new clients in quickbooks online (chart of accounts, structure, etc.) • clean up and catch up outdated or disorganized books • prepare monthly financial reports (p&l, balance sheet, cash flow) • identify discrepancies and unusual activity • communicate with clients via email (requests, clarifications, follow-ups) • support the tax team with accurate and organized financialswhat we're looking for (non-negotiable) • 5+ years of bookkeeping experience • strong, hands-on experience with quickbooks online • experience managing multiple clients simultaneously • solid understanding of the full accounting cycle • fluent english (written and spoken) • high attention to detail and strong organizational skills • ability to work independently and meet deadlinesnice to have • experience in an accounting firm environment • experience with xero, netsuite, or similar tools • payroll or sales tax experiencework setup • 100% remote • full-time position • must have your own computer and stable internet connectioncompensation • $1,500 – $1,800 usd/month (based on experience)
