responsibilities
coordinate and follow up on regional engineering projects, including installation, validation, and launch of production lines across different plants.
Coordinate rfq responses and creation of sows with manufacturing plants.
Manage engineering project progress through timelines, tracking matrices, kpis, and weekly/monthly executive status reports.
Ensure execution of fat, sat, and machinery/equipment validations, coordinating with global engineering, suppliers, and local teams.
Coordinate the integration of new machines and lines, ensuring compliance with capacity, safety, quality, and traceability requirements.
Coordinate with quality, production, maintenance, safety, and engineering departments for line release in accordance with global and local standards.
Provide technical support to process engineers for capability analysis (cp/cpk), time studies, doe, and process validations.
Support the release of technical documentation (pfmea, control plan, work instructions, layouts, etc.) in compliance with iatf 16949 and customer requirements.
Monitor compliance with special characteristics (cc & cs) and specific customer requirements during project development phases.
Safeguard and control project information within the internal system, ensuring traceability and proper documentation backup.
Prepare status presentations and progress reports for follow-up meetings.
Ensure suppliers have the necessary information and raw material samples required for quotation, construction, and validation of assigned projects.
Job profile
education
industrial, mechatronics, mechanical, manufacturing engineering, or related field.
Experience
minimum 5 years in process engineering, manufacturing, or project management, preferably in the automotive industry.
Technical knowledge
iatf 16949, pfmea, control plan, ppap, rfq, sow.
Automation, plcs, and traceability systems.
Capability analysis, time studies, ergonomics, line balancing, and layouts.
Fat/sat validations and technical documentation.
Advanced english (fluent for global communication).
Knowledge of automotive safety products (seat belts, retractors, buckles) - considered a plus
