Job description
we are seeking a seasoned audit professional to manage and execute audit activities across various finance areas, focusing on treasury operations, risk management, regulatory reporting, and financial reporting.
the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial markets, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks. He/she will lead audits to ensure that the scope, approach, resourcing, and logistics are properly planned, executed, and finalized.
this role involves maintaining an audit issues tracking database, assisting in developing the annual audit plan, and identifying opportunities for process improvements to increase productivity and efficiency.
* lead or participate in individual audits to ensure proper planning, execution, and finalization.
* maintain the audit issues tracking database to address identified risks and issues.
* develop and implement a continuous audit program for assigned businesses.
required skills and qualifications
the following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
* a solid understanding of financial reporting, global treasury, and regulatory stress testing with working experience in first-line or second-line or audit roles is essential.
* minimum of ten years proven and progressive audit, business, and/or accounting experience or equivalent.
* strong managerial skills, written and verbal communication skills, analytical, problem-solving, organizational, lateral thinking, and interpersonal skills.
* broad knowledge of the industry, business supported, and regulatory framework they operate in.
* excellent written and spoken communication skills to articulate complex information meaningfully to various audiences.
