- role purpose:
- supervise and manage designated parts of the production activities in the assigned scm-unit and ensure that products in the area of responsibility are provided efficiently and according to the specifications and in line with customer requirements.
- main accountabilities:
provision of products according to specifications and customer requirements
- efficient manpower planning, vacation planning, and group work to avoid bottle necks in production
- implementation of projects and kvp/sim processes
- compliance with budget set by production manager
- maintenance, careful operation and availability of the entrusted equipment and utilities in the designated area of responsibility
- compliance with legal and other regulations in the operation of facilities, buildings and equipment in his immediate area of responsibility as well as the job safety of the employed staff
- increases in efficiency and capacity of the entrusted equipment and utilities and improvements in the operational procedures
- conducting appraisal interviews
- monitoring of dates and deadlines
- human resource development activities, such as developing and implementing training concepts
- management team of respective scm-unit in the development and implementation of scm-strategies and projects
