job description
ensure accurate receiving, handling, storage, and delivery of materials while complying with quality, safety, and accuracy standards. You will promote an inclusive, safe, and collaborative work environment that welcomes people of all identities, backgrounds, and abilities.
your responsibilities
* unpack materials following established procedures to ensure product integrity.
* inspect received materials to ensure they meet required quality standards.
* perform accurate counts of kit components according to specifications.
* audit kits to verify all required components are included.
* deliver materials to production lines following kitting requests.
* maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace with the 5s methodology.
* retrieve materials from storage locations to ensure availability.
* participate in cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
* apply the fifo (first in, first out) method for proper inventory rotation.
* use scales to measure and verify material quantities according to specifications.
the essentials – you will have
* education: middle or high school completed (preferred).
* experience: not required; previous experience in material handling or 6-month warehouse operations.
* familiarity with office suite.
* barcode scanner use.
the preferred – you might also have:
* commitment to safety and quality.
* respect and openness to diversity.
* ability to lift heavy objects safely.
* willingness to operate a forklift (if applicable, with valid certification).
