Responsible for all activities related to manufacturing engineering of assigned product(s). Responsible of the coordination of the project start‑ups between plant, development, sales and customer. Responsible of coordinating and implementing change management for existing products.
responsibilities
1. coordination of new product / lines launches in collaboration with all cross‑functional areas involved (sales, program management, development, lead plant, business unit, manufacturing, quality, logistics, etc.)
2. coordination of new product / line launches applying project management / apqp methods, including regular project summary for management reviews.
3. coordination of activities related to capacity planning and lines flexibility based on latest official volumes prognosis (pva).
4. coordination of new products / lines launches in fulfillment with mae approval request process (investment calculation, investment overview, capacity analysis, and bps requirements).
5. coordination of new products / lines launches in compliance with quality requirements (quality gates, flow chart, pfmea, control plan, and safe launch activities) and in fulfillment with bosch production system specific requirements (dfma, lld, vsm/vsd, flow oriented layout).
6. coordination of trial runs in order to meet project deliverables (i.e. Initial samples, ewak-series, pv-runs, r@r, etc.)
7. coordination of internal and external audits as part of line and product release.
8. coordination of product cancellation process for inactive / obsolete part numbers.
9. coordination of engineering changes (ecr) / process changes (pcr) in order to assure latest product and process version (i.e. Ecr creation, approval, validation, and support with customer approval (if applicable)).
10. coordination for rpp activities (cost reduction activities) in order to achieve planned annual savings and target costs: continuous analysis and tracking of rpp actions including ecrs coordination, procurement of alternative materials, planning of series validations and support customer approval (if applicable).
11. coordination of internal/external workshops and lessons learned in order to identify opportunities which will lead to continuous improvement (i.e. head-count, floor-space, lines utilization, internal defect cost).
12. coordination of manufacturing inputs for cost estimations (rfqs based on internal /external specific requirements).
13. monitoring of kpis during project ramp-up and coordinate measures during stabilization phase (qg5) in terms of quality, cost, and delivery.
