The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier development, and international trade, with proven expertise in negotiation, cost optimization, and category management. Responsibilities lead and supervise a team of procurement professionals to drive business results. Develop and implement methodologies to evaluate supplier quality and performance. Ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials and packaging through effective risk management. Design category-specific strategies and negotiate agreements with suppliers to achieve savings targets. Establish and enforce purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency. Oversee team performance and drive continuous improvement through data-driven decision making. Develop strategies for category reviews using total cost of ownership (tco) analysis and request for proposal (rfp) processes. Strategic challenges immediate: achieve savings targets and implement category strategies. Medium-term: develop and evaluate suppliers, reducing single-source dependency. Long-term: drive sustainability in procurement through innovation and technology. Qualifications 10 years of experience related to procurement and supply chain management. Master's degree preferred. Proven track record in cost-saving projects and category strategy development. Expertise in negotiation and supplier selection, supplier evaluation and international trade, project management. Advanced english proficiency. Strong knowledge of global indices and commodities. Required skills familiarity with procurement tools and enterprise resource planning (erp) systems.
