Role summary:
we are looking for an experienced cost accountant who will report to the finance manager based locally and will work with a team. In this role you will support a local accounting/finance structure, working directly with the operations and also helping out with other facilities if needed.
responsibilities:
1. month end reporting
2. perform month end close for inventory/purchasing and accounts receivable close and reconciliation
3. project accounting - monthly review margins and processing
4. sales and margin analysis
5. processing month end journals accruals/prepayments/recharges
6. fixed asset accounting
7. reconcile month end bookings
8. balance sheet reconciliations
9. standard costing system
10. management and ownership of standard costing system
11. data analysis for cost and manufacturing within the business
12. and any other duties assigned
requirements:
13. bachelors degree in accounting, administration, finance, economics or relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience in finance and accounting
14. strong cost accounting knowledge and experience
15. fluent english (conversation)
16. available to working in hybrid way
17. general knowledge of accounting policies
18. proficiency in excel other ms office products
19. clear and concise communications skills
20. ability to challenge the norm and look for better solutions/processes
preferred:
21. systems knowledge: oracle, bpc, sap will be beneficial
