In this role, your responsibilities will be:
* perform customer quotes based on material availability, installed capacity, and process restrictions, using prior product knowledge to provide satisfactory delivery times.
* verify that client requirements meet the guidelines established during the quoting process using electronic means such as oracle, ensuring compliance with delivery times.
* lead the daily demand loaded into the system and in process in the manufacturing area to plan the release of work orders, considering material availability, installed capacity, and system constraints to ensure optimal flow of units.
* transfer daily manufacturing area data using the oracle system to print work orders (travelers) for production start and monitor wip or units in process.
* monitor orders through oracle reports and electronic systems to ensure proper flow and prevent delays, providing feedback on order progress to customers.
* expedite and prioritize urgent orders to meet customer requested shipping dates.
* communicate clearly with customers, verbally and/or in writing, about situations that may affect on-time delivery.
* coordinate closely with purchasing to manage component shortages, inform customers of any delays or arrivals, and facilitate early order releases when possible.
* participate in engineering changes, attend scheduled meetings, and update the system with new part numbers, bills of materials, and kits as needed.
* proactively develop procedures and process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and resource optimization.
* prepare reports, metrics, and statistics, analyzing data to support decision-making.
* lead and manage production master plans, collaborating with central operations to review capacity and material availability.
* coordinate the supply chain activities with team members and use oracle to fulfill customer orders.
* adhere to safety policies, report risks immediately, and participate in safety improvement actions.
* manage departmental resources effectively.
* support activities that maintain the quality system.
* assist with any other activities related to the work as assigned.
