the warehouse manager is accountable for evaluating the performance and implementing new ways of working, routing, equipment, etc., that lead to higher throughput and material control.
wh manger is responsible for the control of the materials, inventory and results of the annual audits, coordinating all the activities needs in order to ensure this process control.
identify risk than can impact in the production continuity for the site in order to scale in proper time to avoid it.
will develop and lead strategic initiatives which deliver cost reduction, higher service levels, and greater logistics flexibility and capacity.
will also determine the most cost-effective ways to operate the warehouse without compromising the service level to customers and production lines
wm will lead all efforts focused on storage & handling aimed to improve the following aspects: service, security & quality, cost and capacity.
service: will work with customers service, manufacturing & sc excellence to understand the needs of the customers (internal & external) in terms of service and other kpis and then will take that understanding into action plans.
security & quality: in collaboration with security & manufacturing will ensure all operations within the factory are in compliance with mars standards.
will also work with suppliers to make sure they know and understand the internal policies to deliver raw materials and packs in compliance with those standards.
cost: he will be responsible of anticipating changes in the internal and external variables that could lead to higher cost and will define and execute the activities to avoid that over cost.
capacity: is responsible to evaluate the handling capacity and work closely with customer service & planning to make sure the confirmed capacity can cover our future demand.
if there are gaps, should create and execute a plan to avoid any disruptions in service.

- bachelor's degree industrial engineering, business administration or related studies.
- advanced degree highly preferred
- advanced english
*knowledge / experience*
- sap wh management module knowledge.

- 2+ years of demonstrated people management experience leading a department through collaboration with critical suppliers and internal colleagues
- 2+ experience in related areas, such as supply chain, production and planning.
- understanding of physical logistics management and its'
impact on the company financials.
- possesses an analytical understanding of the value and impact of information (managing and reporting data effectively)
- experience leading and developing a high performing team
- strong attention to detail, initiative, problem solving, and time management
- excellent communication and presentation skills in english and spanish
