Majestic resorts is a hotel brand with exceptional all-inclusive service. We are looking for a graphic designer who will work to assist in the conception, design, and maintenance of brand marketing materials for majestic resorts. A keen eye for detail and luxury design aesthetic, as well as the ability to take a project from concept to completion, is vital for success in this role. Additionally, the role will require the ability to follow, yet to build upon, existing brand guidelines to define the future state of the brand identity.
Responsibilities
assist in the development of visual brand identity for the majestic resorts brand, each resort brand, restaurants, bars, programs, etc. through logos and various marketing materials including but not limited to, flyers, brochures and collateral.
Consistently apply and encourage use of brand guidelines.
Work with the director of brand marketing and creative to develop the brand guidelines in order to establish a unified visual brand identity.
Support the growth of the digital marketing effort through design of graphics for website landing pages, emails, digital banners and social media campaigns.
Work collaboratively within the sales & marketing team and operations team to build and define the brand.
Own projects through completion and continually maintain responsibility to complete work on time.
Be accountable for the accuracy of information presented in deliverables online and in print.
Take constructive criticism and apply to all work that follows.
Practice clear and constructive communication.
Consider multi-lingual flexibility and future-state goals, ultimately providing varied solutions as needed.
Provide mentorship to other designers as directed.

Education
degree or certification in graphic design or similar degree
experience
3+ years of professional design experience, hotel industry is preferred but not required
required skills
proficient in adobe creative cloud (illustrator, indesign, and photoshop)
ability to develop brand identity through multiple assets
ability to print-ready/preflight files and deliver completely
interchangeably utilize pms, cmyk, rbg and hex codes
strong knowledge of typography
ability to design within a grid system
ability to concept
adaptable and able to pick up new techniques
ability to work on their own or in a team environment

this is a full-time, on-site position. Working hours are monday to friday, 8:00 am to 4:45 pm, and saturday, 8:00 am to 12:15 pm.
