About the Opportunity
In this role, you will be responsible for engaging key outlets in your area, developing tailored sell strategies for each, and educating and motivating the sales staff to drive sustained growth of sales and brand awareness for Bacardi in your territory. Strong communication, presentation, networks, and interpersonal skills are essential to success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Deliver results and excellence in execution.
- Comply with sales objectives, distribution, product mix, and desired outcomes for each customer.
- Develop and manage the sales plan for your territory based on business priorities.
- Monitor territory/channel/account performance monthly/quarterly with clients/distributors to ensure forecast and budget (volume/value/execution) are met in line with the Bacardi Scorecard.
- Serve as the primary contact with the client, building long-term relationships.
- Monitor competitive activities and create action plans based on analysis.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather input to improve products and services and address day-to-day questions or issues.
- Implement standardized business practices.
- Have thorough knowledge of Bacardi history and culture.
- Coordinate resources (for example, Revenue Growth Management, Point of Sale, research, and sales support materials) to support local objectives.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience in a commercial role for an FMCG company, preferably with a focus on the On-Trade Channel (restaurants, bars, night clubs). Alcoholic beverage industry experience is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication and storytelling skills.
- Effective networking and interpersonal abilities.
- Demonstrable track record of performance and delivery.
- Excellent computer skills (Excel & PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English and Spanish.
