construction project engineer (12-month temporary)

this position is 100% on-site.
job summary
responsible for ensuring the proper execution of an industrial project from design review, construction management, and post-construction support, ensuring compliance with schedule, cost, quality, and safety.

design and construction of new offices in slp
support in construction project activities in slp
support internal cummins administrative processes (purchase orders, hse risk analysis)
prepare executive progress reports for leadership staff
manage the design and construction of equipment such as furniture, multimedia systems, and it equipment
manage contractors' performance on-site

schedule performance index (spi)
cost performance index (cpi)
control of unplanned changes
safety incident rate
post-construction pending items closure
non-conformities
qualifications
bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, or construction engineering.
at least 5 years of experience in industrial construction project management, with proven experience managing projects from design phase through delivery and post-construction.
experience coordinating construction contractors, cost control, schedule tracking, and on-site decision-making
intermediate level in autocad and microsoft office (excel)
experience reviewing executive project documentation
preferred qualifications
intermediate conversational english
experience using revit 3d
experience with medium- and low-voltage electrical installations
experience with fire protection system installations
experience with construction permit processes in juárez
