* lead and develop the accounting team, overseeing daily operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
* ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations and reporting requirements.
* oversee the preparation and timely filing of corporate tax returns with accuracy and integrity.
* establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure adherence to corporate financial policies.
* manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, delivering accurate and timely financial statements.
* coordinate with external auditors to ensure successful audits and compliance with standards.
* provide actionable financial insights and recommendations to senior management, supporting strategic planning and decision-making.
* demonstrate strong command of accounting principles (gaap/ifrs), tax compliance, and financial reporting standards.
perfil buscado
* bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, administration, or a related field.
* 5-7 years of professional experience in accounting and taxation within a manufacturing or production environment.
* proven leadership experience of at least 5 years, managing teams and driving results.
* proficiency with erp/accounting systems (sap, oracle, or similar) and advanced excel skills.
* in-depth knowledge of mexican tax legislation, ifrs, and local regulatory frameworks.
* fluency in english is mandatory.
