As a cloud operations engineer ii, you will work in a diverse and innovative team to innovate with purpose, build impactful solutions for customers worldwide.
the role involves working on infrastructure service requests towards customer-focused resolution and improvements. You will continually monitor and tune application infrastructure and services to assure optimal performance, availability, and utilization of resources.
you will also provide technical solutions to automate processes or functions to improve business operations. Support releases, enhancements, and upgrades or new services throughout non-production and production environments.
we are looking for someone who can be flexible and adjust their working hours as needed to align with other global cloud teams ensuring close team collaboration and workflow continuity throughout our support zones.
in the first 1-3 months, you will complete training on our tech stack and join a squad of cloud engineers to support, optimize, and improve our production environments.
you will learn our service observability and application performance monitoring stack, our customer-focused service requests workflows and technologies.
master our customer-focused service requests workflows to resolution and continually monitor and tune application infrastructure to assure optimal performance, availability, and utilization of resources.
in the long term, you will be the subject matter expert in our core support service request workflows, document, and implement enhancement ideas where applicable.
participate in technical discussions and design for new projects, proactively identify opportunities for process change in the team, and work with stakeholders to improve operations workflows.
