We are seeking a senior python developer with strong experience in cloud-native development and aws serverless architectures. This role is ideal for someone who excels at building scalable backend services, event-driven systems, and modern apis, and who can contribute to high-availability cloud infrastructure.
key responsibilities
* develop and maintain backend services in python (fastapi, flask, django).
* build serverless solutions using aws lambda, api gateway, sqs, sns, eventbridge, and step functions.
* design and integrate rest apis for internal and external use.
* implement event-driven architectures, message queues, and microservices.
* develop data ingestion and processing pipelines using aws-native tools.
* deploy and manage cloud workloads on aws (ec2, eks, s3, lambda, cloudwatch, iam).
* build and maintain ci/cd pipelines (github actions, gitlab ci, codepipeline).
* collaborate with devops and data teams to enhance infrastructure, observability, and security.
* write maintainable, well-tested code following best engineering practices.
* monitor system performance and optimize cost, scalability, and latency.
required skills & experience
* 5+ years of experience with python development (django, fastapi, flask).
* strong hands-on experience with aws: lambda, api gateway, sqs, sns, ec2, s3, eks/ecs.
* proven experience building rest apis and microservices.
* experience with docker and container-based development.
* familiarity with kubernetes (eks preferred).
* solid understanding of ci/cd, automated testing, and cloud security fundamentals.
* experience working with relational and nosql databases (postgresql, mongodb, dynamodb).
nice-to-have skills
* experience with data pipelines (glue, athena, kafka, airflow).
* familiarity with observability tools (prometheus, grafana, cloudwatch).
* understanding of serverless and event-driven design patterns.
* exposure to ai/ml workloads on cloud environments.
