Job Title: Mechanical Support Technician
Salary Range: MXN 20,000 – 28,000 per month

Key Responsibilities
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
· Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on forklifts following OEM standards.
· Conduct detailed inspections of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, identifying wear, leaks, and potential failures.
· Execute corrective repairs such as brake replacement, hydraulic hose repair, mast alignment, and engine adjustments.
· Install and calibrate replacement parts, ensuring alignment with technical specifications.
Diagnostics & Troubleshooting
· Use diagnostic tools, multimeters, and service software to troubleshoot electrical and electronic control systems.
· Identify root causes of performance issues, safety malfunctions, or breakdowns.
· Work independently on urgent field service calls, ensuring minimal downtime for customer operations.
Customer & Field Service
· Travel to client facilities within Monterrey and surrounding industrial zones to provide on-site service and emergency repairs.
· Act as a technical advisor to customers, explaining repair needs, safe usage practices, and daily maintenance tips.
· Deliver professional communication in customer interactions, reinforcing the company’s service reputation.
Parts & Inventory Management
· Recommend required spare parts for repairs and maintenance, coordinating with warehouse/procurement.
· Maintain accurate service vehicle inventory to ensure readiness for field repairs.
· Assist in identifying opportunities for parts sales or upgrades when engaging with customers.
Documentation & Reporting
· Complete service reports, work orders, and parts usage logs in a timely and accurate manner.
· Document recurring equipment issues to support continuous improvement and feedback to management.
· Support warranty claims by providing detailed technical information and photographic evidence where required.
Safety & Compliance
· Follow strict safety protocols when servicing heavy equipment, batteries, fuel systems, and hydraulics.
· Ensure all work complies with Mexican safety standards and internal company regulations.
· Participate in ongoing safety training, certifications, and toolbox talks.
Teamwork & Development
· Collaborate with senior technicians on complex cases and contribute to sharing knowledge across the service team.
· Provide basic training to junior technicians or apprentices when requested.
· Share technical feedback with sales and product teams to inform after-sales strategy and customer satisfaction initiatives.
Qualifications
· Technical degree or certification in mechanics, electromechanics, mechatronics, or industrial maintenance.
· 2–5 years of experience in forklift, heavy equipment, or automotive service and repair.
· Strong understanding of combustion engines, electric motors, hydraulics, and electronics.
· Skilled in using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and technical manuals.
· Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for service calls.
· Customer-focused with strong communication and teamwork skills.
