key responsibilities:
- *contract management*:
- draft, review, and negotiate contracts related to logistics services, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- manage the contract lifecycle, from inception to execution, and monitor compliance with contractual obligations, including tracking expiration dates and providing timely alerts to operations.
- *legal compliance*:
- legal support for business units.
- handling claims and legal inquiries related to assigned sectors.
- ensure legal compliance and risk management aligned with internal policies and applicable laws.
- stay updated on changes in legislation related to logistics and employment law, advising management on necessary adjustments.
- support in corporate, governance, and real estate matters.
- *employment litigation*:
- provide legal support in employment litigation matters, including but not limited to disputes related to contracts, terminations, and workplace policies.
- collaborate with external legal counsel as needed to manage litigation cases effectively.
- *employment relations*:
- develop and implement strategies to maintain positive employment relations within the organization.
- advise management on employee rights, workplace policies, and best practices to mitigate legal risks.
- *stakeholder communication*:
- serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders regarding contract-related inquiries and legal matters.
- facilitate communication between legal, commercial, and operational teams to ensure alignment on contract terms and conditions.
who we are looking for:
- minimum of 8 years of experience in contract management, preferably within the logistics or transportation sector.
- proven experience in employment litigation and a strong understanding of employment relations.
- excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- proficiency in contract management software and legal research tools.
- detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and compliance.
- high ethical standards and professionalism.
- ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
