Overview
we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced sap retrofit manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sap solution manager, abap development and s/4hana and bw/4hana, with excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with various teams.
key responsibilities
* retrofit coordination & execution
o manage and monitor the sap retrofit process across multiple systems (e.g., d, q, p landscapes).
o ensure timely and accurate retrofitting of transports from project systems to maintenance systems and vice versa.
o collaborate with functional and technical teams to validate retrofit scope and impact.
o propose scenarios to facilitate the retrofit process.
* governance & compliance
o define and enforce retrofit governance processes and best practices.
o ensure compliance with change management policies and audit requirements.
o maintain documentation of retrofit activities and decisions.
* issue management
o identify and resolve retrofit conflicts and inconsistencies.
o escalate critical issues and coordinate resolution with relevant stakeholders.
* collaboration & communication
o act as the point of contact between project teams, support teams, and release management.
o facilitate regular meetings to track retrofit progress and align on priorities.
o provide status updates and reporting to project and program management.
* tooling & automation
o utilize sap solution manager, charm, or other tools to manage and track retrofit activities.
o identify opportunities for automation and process improvement in the retrofit workflow.
requirements
education & experience
* bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
* 5+ years of experience in sap environments, with at least 2 years in a retrofit or change management role.
* experience with sap solution manager and charm is highly desirable.
