Hr manager work mode: onsite location: on site – reynosa, mx
opportunity role purpose under the leadership of the director of human resources, the hr manager in partnership with plant leadership will be responsible for the talent & culture strategy for the reynosa operations facility.
this role will develop, direct, plan, and execute people initiatives as well as lead an on-site hr team that enables the organization to meet its business objectives.
key responsibilities develop strong relationships with associates and union leadership by spending time on the manufacturing floor, working with managers and supervisors, and developing a strong communication strategy. Drive positive employee relations to provide an optimal work environment for all employees.
effectively deploy communication plans and utilize assessment tools (e.g., employee surveys) to identify organizational issues and action plans. Manage day-to-day operations and development of the onsite human resources team. Build organizational capability through ownership of talent management processes including talent acquisition, assessment, performance management, and employee development. Support plant operations through headcount planning, workforce planning, and recruitment. Own hr metrics, responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing data. Provide strategic and consultative leadership guidance and mentoring. Develop and implement solutions to organizational challenges by leading and coaching others through change. Identify critical positions and develop succession strategies; identify high-potential associates for development and recommend developmental assignments. Coordinate human resources modules within the strategic planning process to ensure future initiatives are supported by adequate human capital and leadership. Resolve employee relation issues and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and risk management policies. Skills/requirements relevant experience and qualifications minimum 5 years experience in human resources, with emphasis on business partnership, operational excellence, and culture transformation in a manufacturing environment. Experience in core hr functions including manufacturing hr, labor relations, employee relations, compensation, recruiting, talent management, succession planning, workforce planning, and labor law. Understanding of the mexican workforce landscape and labor market. Experience with cultural transformation initiatives. Leadership skills to build effective teams. Ability to balance strategic and tactical skills. Strong problem analysis and resolution skills. Consultative hr partnership skills. Accountability, ownership, and execution skills. Strong communication skills. Data-driven and proficient with hr tools and systems. Experience with lean, six sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies. Bilingual in spanish and english.
