Amazon mexico retail team is looking for a data-driven, customer-obsessed, hands-on, and creative candidate to join our team. As a grocery meal essentials vendor manager, you'll lead one of the largest subcategories in mx, working with selected vendors to help drive growth and deliver a best-in-class customer experience within amazon.com.mx, while fostering strong business relationships with some of amazon's highest visibility brands.
key job responsibilities
1. manage the addition of brands and product selection to the meal essentials portfolio, surpassing topline growth goals.
2. deliver inputs such as selection, inventory levels, and pricing to enhance the customer experience in the mx store.
3. provide guidance and strategy to drive category growth profitably, identify business opportunities, solve inefficiencies, and propose solutions.
4. improve operational processes, lead promotional events, and collaborate with ads and marketing teams for strategic partnerships.

basic qualifications
* 3+ years of experience with excel.
* 5+ years of experience in retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and results delivery.
* bachelor's degree or equivalent certification.
* fluent in both english and spanish.
preferred qualifications
* experience managing large data sets to drive performance and process improvements.
* experience in vendor negotiations, pricing, promotion, inventory management, and product development.
* experience with financial analysis and p&l ownership.
