Join a dynamic team in the international shipping industry as we seek a highly motivated sales account executive to drive business growth and build lasting customer relationships.


about the role

this outside sales role requires a valid driver's license and vehicle, as well as strong skills in negotiation, organization, adaptability, and thoughtful analysis.

you will work with a professional cross-functional team to identify new opportunities, maintain and improve existing business, and grow positive customer relations.


responsibilities

* bid & contracts - develop strategies, collaborate with prospective customers, and work with cross functional teams to establish a quality business relationship.
* business development & customer relations - identify new opportunities, maintain, and improve the value of existing business, and grow positive customer relations.
* sales plan - create, execute, and deliver continuous improvement of the business plan with focus toward growing revenue, contribution, and customer value.


required skills and qualifications

* strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to understand others' perspectives and build trust.
* proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to break down complex issues, identify patterns, and develop data-driven solutions.
* strategic negotiation and organizational excellence skills with ability to navigate complex discussions, structure workflows, set priorities, and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
* ability to travel up to 70-75% of the time to cover and expand the sales territory.
