advanced quality engineer
objective:
lead the development and implementation of systems and tools during pre-production events that prevent risks and quality issues in the process and product, ensuring customer satisfaction with the delivered product.
knowledge
* problem-solving tools.
* implementation and application of core tools.
* implementation of measuring equipment and fixtures.
* global quality standards.
* elements of advanced quality planning and parts approval.
* mastery of specific customer requirements.
* internal auditor iso/ts 16949 and/or vda 6.3.
* experience in machining processes.
* interpretation and reading of drawings (gd&t).
* knowledge of product functionality.
* knowledge of spc/msa.
* knowledge of metallography interpretation.
* knowledge of special processes (cqi-9/11/15).
* proficiency in sap transactions applicable to quality.
* knowledge of six sigma.
* knowledge of lean manufacturing.
* knowledge of kaizen.
* iso/iec 17025
qualifications
* bachelor's degree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing engineering
* 4+ years' of industry experience
* strong knowledge of quality tools used in the industry
* analytical and quantitative approach to problem solving
* experience in machining processes.
