*job summary*
applies established engineering principals to critical task in the design, develop and modify existing products and processes.
*minimum qualifications & requirements*
- bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related areas.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in engineering department
- travel as required up to 50%
- 90% bilingual
- solidworks or fusion, surfacing cad, 2d drafting or technical drawings, calipers measuring knowledge
*essential duties & responsabilities*
- executes critical tasks in design, development and modification of projects that require the knowledge and use of fundamental concepts, procedure and practices within and engineering specialty such as industrial, electrical, mechanical chemical, etc.
- researches new materials and methods of development to support the design engineering project.
- researches and evaluates products, parts, and processes for cost efficiency and reliability.
- creates models (prototypes) of the products and processes that are being designed by for their evaluacion.
- can maintain and generate reports from the manufacturing information (bom, dspec. Dwgs. Etc) using the appropriate documentation system (cm. D-spec, vista, mapics, ecn, autocad / inventor, etc )
- can produce product documentation required for user manuals such as drawing text and graphics.
- maintains the standard operating procedures (sop) of the engineering function.
- guarantee ethical practices among the work team, fostering respect, tolerance, inclusion and communication, and following up on any offense against these values that has been observed, reported to or escalated to the position in regards to the psychosocial risks prevention policy, the protocol to attend work violence reports and any other applicable regulation.
- comply with general dispositions applicable to all the personnel, such as:
- adhere to ethical, technical and safety guidelines of the company. (rules and regulations, codes, policies, procedures, protocols, etc.).
- report immediately any unsafe act or condition detected or aware of.
- propose and implement improvement actions.
- render support to any other activity required by the company.
