work you'll do/responsibilities
as a senior consultant, you will work with diverse global clients across a wide range of industries. You will have a variety of client facing responsibilities such as diagnosing issues using advanced analytical techniques, interviewing staff, formulating and making recommendations, and helping clients implement proposed solutions.
o own collections performance for an assigned scope (e.g., segment/portfolio), driving outcomes through strategy, prioritization, and execution oversight (cadence design, segmentation, promise-to-pay governance, aging mix management).
o lead management of complex/aged accounts and systemic delinquency drivers; coordinate resolution across stakeholders (e.g., sales, customer service, billing, cash application) and ensure clear accountability.
o act as the primary escalation point for customer/client communications on high-impact topics (e.g., critical past dues, dispute blockers, short pays/credits, unapplied cash impacts), ensuring professional, consistent messaging.
o monitor and actively manage performance vs targets (e.g., overdue %, aging mix, dispute cycle time, collector productivity); initiate corrective actions when leading indicators show risk to cash outcomes.

qualifications
required
• 6 -10+ years of consulting and/or industry experience
• completion of coursework (egresado) in any pertinent field or industry
• responsible for supporting and leading project workstreams and/or teams
• identifies key drivers, defines problems and proposes solutions
• advanced english level
• experience in finance operations/bpo/shared services with strong exposure to o2c and collections
• prior experience leading a team (e.g., as sme/acting lead/team lead) and managing escalations in an sla-driven environment.
• experience with erp systems (e.g., sap, oracle, microsoft dynamics); exposure to collections/workflow tools is advantageous.
• strong stakeholder management and the ability to drive cross-functional resolution (billing, sales, customer service, cash application).
preferred
• strong proficiency in excel and reporting/analysis tools; ability to convert data into actions, owners, and measurable outcomes.
• confident communicator (written/verbal) able to lead difficult customer conversations and executive-ready internal updates.
• strong ownership mindset, attention to detail, and controls orientation; ensures high-quality documentation and audit readiness.
