Position duties
* responsible for m4-m6 projects development
* support manufacturing process engineering activity
* drive continuous improvement in safety, quality and productivity (zone / section / function)
* develop action plans as required to investigate and prioritize quality concerns and verify corrective actions on internal processes and supplier processes
* ensure compliance to plant, corporate, governmental and environmental standards
* provide a robust response to production requirements and issues
* working closely with production team to drive all engineering actions across the machining/assembly line to improve jph and ftt
* ensure process or product changes are captured using manage the change and apqp processes as appropriate.
* conduct functional trials
* establish and maintain line production process to meet required quality and productivity targets and keep documentation using 6-sigma tools
* respond to vehicle operations concerns, and lead team based problem solving tools
* plan and prepare engineering projects
* prepare specifications and request of quotations
* participate in tooling improvements, layouts, with tooling engineer
* supports maintenance operating system (mos) actions and team
* participate in cpmt meetings, representing the plant in multidisciplinary team work
* provide process-related training to production team
* issue and track concerns and deviations
* work with wers, cora, cad and other required systems
* drive dcp and capability studies/control plans
* liaise with forward planning and manufacturing engineering to co-ordinate changes
* purchase, commissioning, capability and debugging of new equipment.
* participate in machine witness at vendor
* liaise with product team, meo, production team and suppliers to develop optimum processes, such as gauging, torque strategies, in process testing and hot/cold engine testing
* manage the development of processes through engineering and build to support prototype programme delivery schedules
* respond to product design running and plant based program changes with feasibility, cost and timing, within a managed change discipline
* provide requirements for new model launch timing and metrics, such as ptr runs
* liaise with external suppliers in support of project work
experience requirements
* five years' work experience in manufacturing operation.
* broad knowledge in automated control devices and technologies.
* must have problem -solving skills to provide quick solution on control program failures and minimize downtime of equipment.
* strong knowledge in electronic instrumentation, pneumatic equipment's for new machine development & maintenance.
basic function
* under the supervision of eng agm, this position is responsible to lead new machine development about new projects - engineering programs in order to keep the automated equipment in good operation conditions, through preventive and corrective maintenance.
* moreover, is responsible for the proper function of the automated equipment, such as: plcs, robots, drivers, sensors & vision systems.
* work with maintenance department members about new injection molding machines procurement & maintenance
specific responsibilities
* manage a equipment technicians & engineers team in charge of developing machinery & automation for the launch of new models (machinery development for process setup).
* ensure the correct operation of the control programs according to production necessities (injection, paint & assembly areas mainly).
* develop and implements preventive maintenance programs to control automation manufacturing devices in order to avoid malfunctions or production delays
* maintain and solve problems of all the equipment of the plant, such as: machines, plcs, drivers, sensors & visions systems.
* (working with maintenance department in case to be need it).
* advises and/or responds to automation problems on 24 hrs basis as needed.
* control and documentation for all backups and changes of programs
education requirements
* engineer degree (ideal but not limited to: mechanical eng, electronical eng, electrical eng, machine eng)
