we are looking for a skilled cobol/mainframe developer to support the maintenance and evolution of our core legacy systems.
this is a hybrid role based in mexico city (cdmx), combining remote flexibility with in-office collaboration.
the ideal candidate will have solid experience working in mainframe environments, excellent problem-solving skills,and the ability to work in both english and spanish-speaking teams.
required qualifications:
* 3+ years of experience in cobol programming on ibm mainframe platforms.
* ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid work environment.
* proficiency with jcl, cics,db2, vsam, and tso/ispf.
education:
* bachelor´s degree in computer science; information technology, systems engineering, or related field.
