the opportunity in this role, the r&d fsqa analyst (food safety and quality assurance) proactively identifies food safety and quality risks in innovation projects and implements mitigation actions to reduce or eliminate those risks, involved in innovation and productivity projects delivered by r&d in the mexico & caribbean ous.
your impact as r&d fsqa analyst your activities would consist of:
conduct the line and facility assessments for new and/or existing bottling plants and manage the fsqa approval process and its documentation.serve as the point of contact with the r&d teams (product, packaging and process) on food safety discussions during the alignment process.review and support any supplier's food safety related information and communicate with the respective team to address any outstanding difference from pep standards.ensure projects are processed, documented, and delivered within defined timelines and in full compliance with food safety and quality assurance standards, while maintaining and regularly updating the governance project tracker (gpt) to reflect project status accurately and timely.maintain and foster strong relationships with operations, regulatory teams, other tdc r&d functions, and bottling partners, while proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements and providing actionable recommendations to r&d, operations, and other key stakeholders.qualifications
¿who are we looking for? Bachelor's degree in food science, food chemistry, microbiology or equivalent relevant experience required.at least 1 year of experience in quality and food safety processes within the operational environment of production plants.intermediate english level.
advanced understanding of quality management, with a solid knowledge of food microbiology concepts and microbiological methods.general knowledge of quality assurance systems and food safety.quick adaptability to new digital tools and systems, with a strong willingness to learn and explore new technologies.
