The position will be responsible for managing the accounts payable activities for both the us and latam business including the processing and payment of invoices timely, proper matching of purchase order and receiving documents, correct distribution of expense to the general ledger, and proper storage of supporting documents. This position also assists in performance evaluations and managing team members to achieve goals set forth by management. Duties & responsibilities hiring, training, motivating, and evaluating accounts payable staff members in mexico and the us compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial information to management and government agencies developing, implementing, improving, and enforcing budgets, policies, and department controls to increase accuracy and efficiency. Administrator of the concur expense and invoice management system ensure edi and conexium vendor process is functioning as expected ensure proper coding and distribution of expenses to the general ledger develop and maintain key metrics as required by management perform account reconciliations of vendor payable accounts and research and resolve discrepancies establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. Ensure timely processing and completion of month-end, quarter-end and end-of-year transactions, reporting requirements and close process.
