Role overview
as our first community manager for spanish speakers, you will be responsible for creating and nurturing a vibrant online community. Your role is to build the community from the ground up on social media channels like meta, instagram, and tiktok, and to shape how our users connect with us.
Key responsibilities
- build & engage the community:
- develop and launch a lively spanish-speaking community from scratch.
- create strategies to attract, engage, and retain community members.
- answer questions, share success stories, and spark meaningful conversations.
- social media management:
- set up and manage our spanish social pages currently on meta and instagram, posting engaging content regularly.
- relationship building:
- identify and connect with spanish teachers, influencers, and potential community partners.
- serve as the main link between our community and the singit team, collecting feedback and suggestions.
- measure and grow:
- track community growth and engagement using simple metrics.
- adjust strategies based on performance data to ensure continuous improvement.
Required skills & experience
- at least 2 years’ experience in community management or social media.
- excellent spanish communication skills (native level or fluent) and good english.
- a proactive, friendly attitude with a passion for building communities.
- experience with social media platforms and basic digital tools.
- creative problem-solving skills and the ability to drive engagement.
