we are recruiting an on-the-road manager jr., responsible for overseeing day-to-day delivery station operations, focusing on seamless amazon order delivery to customers. This role involves leading process assistants and delivery service partners in daily management, including operational reviews, training sessions, assigning job duties, and communication with dsps. The ideal candidate will be adept at adapting to sudden changes and growth, ensuring efficient last-mile operations.
responsibilities

* track and monitor sorting operations and driver dispatch
* contribute to in-station operations: receiving, scanning, lifting, and moving shipments up to 25 kg
key job responsibilities
* manage staff, resources, consumables, and key metrics for the delivery station.
* coordinate meetings, communicate with support areas, handle escalations, and analyze data.
* ensure proper operations, plan shifts, audit plans, and execute last-mile operations.
a day in the life
1. conduct gemba walks and audits plans
2. manage shift start-up
3. execute safety audits, walks, and stand-up meetings
4. verify daily operations plan, volume, staff attendance, and route planning
5. engage with associates, complete performance audits, and conduct quality inspections
6. complete reports (daily ops plan, shift recap board, end of shift report) and address discrepancies in reporting tools
7. hold end-of-shift meetings with leadership to review performance opportunities and establish action plans
8. perform shift handoff to incoming shift manager and create next-day plans - availability to work rotating shifts according to business requirements
qualifications
* high school diploma or equivalent
* basic english language proficiency
* intermediate excel skills
* 1+ year of experience as a people manager
* 3+ years of general work experience
* bachelor's degree completed
* fluent english speaker
* advanced excel skills
* solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles
