this role plays a vital part in fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. You will lead the implementation of operational excellence initiatives that align with site operations goals and global targets.
key responsibilities:
opex strategy & deployment:
* develop and execute an opex strategy and roadmap aligned with corporate objectives.
* prioritize and lead value office initiatives focused on cost reduction, waste elimination, and process optimization.
* align site-level opex initiatives with global standards, goals, and benchmarks.
continuous improvement culture & capability building:
* cultivate a proactive culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving across all site functions.
* design and deliver training programs on lean, six sigma, 5s, value stream mapping, and other opex tools to build internal capabilities.
process optimization & performance management:
* analyze processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and quality issues.
* implement visual management systems and standard work to ensure process stability and control.
leadership & collaboration:
* build strong relationships with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, supply chain, and hr.
* serve as the key liaison between the site and the global opex team, sharing best practices and leveraging global resources.
sustainability & standardization:
* ensure improvements are standardized, documented, and sustained through robust control plans.
