We're looking for a hands‑on strategic operator who combines business acumen, analytical rigor, and a product mindset to design and lead this new area from the ground up. You’ll bring together business intelligence (bi), continuous improvement (ci), and project management (pmo) to transform insights into measurable impact across our processes, products, and growth initiatives — including how we leverage ai. You’ll report directly to the coo and work closely with leadership to build the systems, dashboards, and playbooks that drive smarter, faster decision‑making across the company. About the role this is a foundational leadership role at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology. You’ll : design and scale the internal frameworks that help nexton operate efficiently. Build and lead a small team focused on data, insights, and process optimization. Partner with leadership to prioritize and deliver high‑impact initiatives that move key business metrics. Be a thought partner to the coo — translating strategic goals into operational systems that deliver consistent results. We're looking for someone who’s as comfortable defining okrs as they are improving workflows, who thrives in ambiguity, and who loves turning analysis into action. Responsibilities build and lead the business operations & strategy area, integrating bi, ci, and pmo capabilities. Partner with leadership to define, track, and execute strategic priorities and company‑wide okrs. Create dashboards, metrics, and frameworks that enable better decisions across teams. Lead cross‑functional improvement projects — from sales and talent ops to finance and product. Identify bottlenecks and design data‑informed process improvements to increase efficiency. Drive automation and ai adoption to enhance internal workflows. Build playbooks, cadences, and communication systems that keep the company aligned and accountable. Coach and develop talent within the bi / ci / pmo streams. Requirements 7 years of experience across business strategy, operations, or data‑driven leadership. Engineering degree and / or mba or postgraduate degree in business, strategy, or operations. Proven experience across data‑driven business domains (bi, data analytics, business analysis), process optimization (ci or similar), and project or product management (pmo or po). 3 years of experience leading projects or small teams within these domains. Strong analytical and technical foundation — ideally with experience in data tools, systems thinking, and process design. Demonstrated ability to translate data insights into measurable business and operational impact. Comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels — able to zoom out and zoom in fluidly. Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills across functions. Bilingual (english & spanish) — english professional proficiency required, not necessarily advanced. Entrepreneurial mindset — pragmatic, resourceful, and driven by measurable outcomes. Nice to have experience in fast‑scaling tech or consulting environments. Familiarity with ai / llms and process automation for efficiency. Certifications such as pmp, agile, or lean six sigma.
