We are a people-first culture with multiple best place to work awards. We are looking for an experienced senior ai engineer to join our elite consulting team. You will work on diverse internal r&d initiatives and high-stakes client projects, delivering production-ready ai systems that solve real business problems. This role combines deep technical expertise with client-facing responsibilities, including solution architecture, implementation, and presenting to c-level executives and technical stakeholders.
responsibilities
* design and implement end-to-end ai solutions for clients across various industries and use cases
* build sophisticated llm applications using rag, vector databases, fine-tuning, and agentic workflows
* develop custom ml models for client-specific challenges including nlp, computer vision, and predictive analytics
* independently assess, clean, and engineer features from complex, messy datasets
* own the complete data pipeline from ingestion through model training and deployment
* lead technical discovery sessions and solution architecture discussions with client stakeholders
* present technical concepts and project outcomes to executive leadership and technical teams
* mentor junior engineers and establish ai/ml best practices across client engagements
* collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and business stakeholders
* contribute to internal r&d initiatives and thought leadership in ai/ml
must haves
* 5+ years of professional software development experience with strong fundamentals
* 5+ years deploying production machine learning systems at scale
* 3+ years of hands-on experience with llms, including api integration and local deployment
* strong data engineering and data science expertise—you can work with raw, unstructured data and transform it into ml-ready datasets
* proficiency with data manipulation tools: pandas, numpy, sql and big data frameworks (spark, dask)
* expert-level python proficiency with deep knowledge of ml frameworks (pytorch, tensorflow, hugging face)
* proven experience with modern ai techniques: rag, vector search, prompt engineering, and agentic systems
* strong cloud platform expertise (aws, gcp, azure) with containerization and orchestration experience
* experience building scalable microservices, apis, and ml inference pipelines
* demonstrated ability to work independently and manage complex projects end-to-end with minimal oversight
* exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership
* consulting mindset with ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
* track record of leading technical projects from conception to production deployment
* upper-intermediate english level

* advanced statistical analysis and experimentation design experience
* experience with streaming data platforms and real-time ml systems
