the digital editor intern is a dynamic role designed for an individual eager to gain hands-on experience in digital editing and publishing.
this position supports the enhancement of articles received from the print sources team and other departments, ensuring content accuracy, completeness, and quality.
the intern will be involved in quality assurance, document optimization, and process improvement to deliver superior content to our customers.
this is a part-time internship based in monterrey, mx, from 9 am to 2 pm.
the position is designed to accommodate academic commitments, offering flexibility for students.
the role is remote, requiring a reliable internet connection and a suitable workspace.
*key responsibilities*:
- *content review and enhancement*: review articles from print sources and other departments, ensuring each piece is accurate, complete, and meets our quality standards.
- *document optimization*: utilize adobe acrobat pro to optimize documents for digital publication, focusing on formatting, tagging, and making documents accessible.
- *process improvement*: participate in the development and implementation of quality assurance and ordering processes to enhance content delivery.
- *collaboration*: collaborate with various departments to collect content, provide feedback, and uphold quality standards.
*qualifications*:
- working knowledge in adobe acrobat pro
- exceptional attention to detail.
- basic to medium knowledge of bibliographic citations.
- proficient written and verbal communication skills in spanish; english proficiency is a plus.
- demonstrated ability to interact with and maintain good working relationships with staff at all levels in a global, remote environment.
