*about the role:* the assistant bell captain supports the bell captain in leading the bell and door team to ensure seamless guest arrivals, departures, and luggage services.
this role plays a key part in creating memorable first and last impressions for our guests by delivering personalized and anticipatory service in line with four seasons standards.
*what you will do:* assist the bell captain in supervising and coordinating the daily activities of the bell and door team.
* ensure efficient handling and delivery of guest luggage during arrivals and departures.
* welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, providing directions, information, and assistance as needed.
* coordinate transportation requests including taxis, private transfers, and hotel vehicles.
* monitor the lobby and porte-cochère area to maintain a smooth and organized guest flow.
* train, coach, and support bell attendants to ensure service standards are consistently met.
* assist with guest requests and resolve service concerns promptly and professionally.
* maintain communication with front office, concierge, and guest services teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
*what you will bring:* previous experience in a luxury hotel environment, preferably within bell desk or front office operations.
* strong leadership and team collaboration skills.
* passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
* excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
* knowledge of the local area and attractions is an asset.
* ability to lift luggage and stand for extended periods.
