Position overview:
the insurance claims collection specialist will play a key role in managing and following up on outstanding insurance claims to ensure timely payments and accurate records. key responsibilities:
* monitor, track, and manage outstanding insurance claims.
* communicate effectively with insurance carriers to resolve claim delays, discrepancies, or denials.
* maintain accurate and organized records of claims, payments, and follow-up actions.
* provide timely updates and reporting on claim status to management.
* collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient claim processing and resolution.
qualifications:
* prior experience in insurance claims, medical billing, or collections is highly preferred.
* strong written and verbal communication skills.
* excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
* bilingual proficiency (english/spanish) is highly desirable.
