*position summary*:
leads a team of approximately 80 production workers within assembly, welding, and fabrication operations.
leads the implementation of corrective and contation actions to ensure proper, safety, quality, delivery, cost, and morale are consistent with production, regulatory, and the certifications required.
leader and resposable of the area kpis of safety, 5s, sdwt events, ideas system, visual fabric, as well as leader and responsible of the planing execution and implementation of problem solving projects with a3 methodology, cost reduction projects, green projects, kaizen and jidoka projects in its area.
responsible of mantaing and monitoring systems and tools such as line balancing, amef, autonomus maintenance, kan-ban, fixtures and pock-yokes, 3no system.
*duties*:
- plans and managers department activities execution.
- provides a safe work environment generating and implementing preventive actions.
- responsible of maintaining above the target the productivity levels.
- provides training and development opportunities to employees while continuing self-development.
- communicates and develops interpersonal and cross-functional relationships.
- leads, generate and implement activities to ensure the quality and continuous improvement culture.
- manages human resources throughout the employee life cycle.
- administers company policies, work rules, collective bargaining agreement, and procedures and addresses issues.
*requirements*:
- (8 to 10) years experience in combined welding, assembly operations and/or cnc machining and sheet metal operations synchronized as a value stream operations line - heavy manufacturing.
- (5) years of supervisory experience.
- knowledge of, 5s, jidoka, smed, poka-yoke, one piece flow, lean principles and mudas.
- knowledge of, 5s, jidoka, smed, poka-yoke, ishikawa, 5w1h, one piece flow, lean principles and mudas.
- knowledge on methodologies for problem solving, a3, ishikawua, 5w1h, doe.
*education*:
- bilingual (preferred)
- bachelor's degree mechanical, manufacturing or related
