what the job involves
* perform in-depth financial, industry and market analyses
* help to identify new business opportunities and potential clients
* work closely with senior team members to conceptualize, analyze and structure deals, from origination through to execution
* perform due diligence and underwriting processes to identify risks, collaborating with the legal, accounting and other teams
* create pitch books with great precision to present to clients
* engage with senior management on the negotiations and terms of the transactions
who we are looking for
* minimum 4 to 6 3 years of experience
* experience working in an investment banking firm or bank, preferably on m&a and/or restructuring deals. Consultancy firms will also be considered
* bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics or a related field
* exceptional financial modelling skills required
* solid analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
* resilient and able to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines
* ability to establish priorities in a fast-paced, fluid work environment
* capable to multi-task and be nimble, with strong attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic
* excellent written and oral communication skills
* strong interpersonal skills
* bilingual fluency in english and spanish
