the key account manager will lead the commercial development of one of mexico's most disruptive technology initiatives: the introduction of network-as-a-service (naas/iaas) and next-generation telecommunications solutions, in a market with an estimated potential exceeding usd 900m.
this role's mission is to accelerate penetration into strategic accounts, open new business opportunities, and strengthen executive-level relationships—delivering measurable value to clients and to the organization. The kam will be instrumental in driving the sustainable growth of nile bu mexico and positioning grupo aguila as a benchmark for technological innovation.
key responsibilities
* define and execute the go-to-market strategy to expand naas/iaas and telecom solutions in mexico.
* build and manage long-term strategic relationships with c-level executives and key decision-makers.
* identify, prospect, and close high-value opportunities aligned with business objectives.
* ensure achievement of commercial kpis: client visits, conversion rates, revenue growth, and retention.
* partner with technical and support teams to guarantee best-in-class customer experience and value delivery.
* represent the company at forums, events, and high-level meetings with partners and clients.
* collaborate with the commercial director & it on roadmap definition, value proposition, and competitive strategy.
required profile
* bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, international business, or related field; master’s preferred.
* 10+ years of experience in technology solutions, telecommunications, or cloud services sales.
* proven success in opening strategic accounts, developing new business, and expanding client portfolios.
* demonstrated experience with c-level engagement and complex sales cycles.
* strong proficiency with crm tools (salesforce, hubspot, etc.).
* certifications in technology solutions sales (preferred: salesforce, hubspot academy, ventas spin, snap).
* advanced english (c1+).

who you are
a person with:
experience: minimum of 5 years of proven experience in key account management, business development, or high-level commercial management roles, including successful experience in hunting and acquiring new clients, preferably in the saas or b2b services sector.
regional skills: demonstrated experience managing clients or portfolios at a national level or with significant geographic responsibility.
languages: advanced english level (essential for communication with international teams and clients).
relationship skills: exceptional ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with clients, from operational levels to c-level executives.

what you will do
as our kam, you will be the architect of long-lasting and productive relationships, with a vision that impacts national performance. Your main responsibilities will include:
strategic key account management: serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of existing clients in mexico, ensuring their satisfaction and maximizing the value they receive from zubale.
new business development (hunting): identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities with strategic clients at the national level, expanding our portfolio and market penetration in mexico.
growth opportunity identification (existing accounts): deeply analyze the operations and objectives of your current clients to identify and develop upselling and cross-selling opportunities for our last-mile solutions.
account and sales strategy planning & execution: develop detailed account plans and new account sales strategies, set clear objectives, and lead execution to drive retention, product adoption, and revenue growth across your key and newly acquired accounts.
internal and cross-functional collaboration: work closely with internal teams such as operations/cx, product, and finance to ensure the delivery of exceptional service and efficient resolution of any challenges impacting operations in mexico.
strategic reporting and analysis: monitor and report key client kpis with a national perspective, identify market trends, and provide valuable insights to both the client and zubale's leadership regarding performance in mexico and growth opportunities.
