responsibilities
support the tax compliance of indirect and direct tax for legal entities established in south latam and chile.
review or prepare tax returns and ensure tax positions match the tax balance sheet.
maintain tax trackers and kpis to ascertain completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
support tax asset monetization initiatives with regional tax team.
liaise and work collaboratively with broader tax and finance organizations.
proactively seek process improvement and automation.
perform other ad-hoc projects as they arise.
qualifications
bachelor's degree in accounting.
cpa / acca / cima or equivalent professional qualification in taxation.
minimum 5 years experience in latin america taxation compliance, ecuador; (in-house multinational or big 4).
fluency in spanish and english.
experience with oracle and / or sap required.
experience with oracle, sap, onesource and blackline considered a plus.
desired characteristics
previous experience in hr operations, payroll & benefits, global mobility or shared service centers preferred.
written and verbal communication skills in spanish.
