about the role
inventronics is a global manufacturer of power supplies for led lighting applications across industrial, commercial, and infrastructure markets. We are seeking a staff accountant to support our mexico manufacturing operations. This position is well‑suited for an early‑career to mid‑level accountant with manufacturing exposure who is eager to strengthen their experience in general ledger, ap/ar, and plant accounting, while working within a structured finance environment and under established processes.
key responsibilities
* support general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month‑end close under established procedures.
* assist with bank payments, vendor payments, and employee reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls.
* support daily accounts payable (ap) and accounts receivable (ar) activities.
* assist with sales, invoicing, and order‑to‑cash processes, including billing and revenue tracking.
* support purchase processes, vendor documentation, and payment coordination.
* liaise with banks, tax advisors, auditors, and external stakeholders as needed, with guidance from senior finance team members.
* follow and comply with mexican tax, legal, and regulatory requirements applicable to a manufacturing company.
* maintain accurate records and ensure timely, on‑time reporting.
* provide support for audits, reviews, and ad‑hoc finance projects.
qualifications
* ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
* proficient in microsoft office, with strong excel skills.
* experience or exposure to erp systems preferred.
* quick learner, adaptable, and comfortable working in a plant environment.
* proactive under pressure, including occasional overtime when required.
* detail‑oriented, accurate, and dependable with deadlines.
