qualifications
* bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (master’s or higher preferred).
* valid teaching license.
* minimum 2 years of teaching experience.
* minimum 2 years of non‑teaching professional experience in the discipline.
* advanced specialization or master’s degree in the subject area to be taught.
* proficiency in spanish; proficiency in english is desirable.
responsibilities
instruct courses across a broad range of health sciences, engineering, and allied disciplines. Sample subject areas include:
* odontology: introduction to odontology, dental materials, dental physiology, preventive odontology, human and social development, biological processes.
* enfermería: immunology, prevention and promotion of health, endocrine and reproductive systems.
* medicina: pathophysiology i, primary care, surgery, medical elective i & ii, applied pathophysiology, gerontology, gynecology & obstetrics, family medicine, internal medicine, emergency, research seminar.
* veterinaria: veterinary anatomy i, pharmacology i, animal nutrition, biological processes i.
* nutrición: cardiopulmonary nutrition, pediatric nutrition.
* fisioterapia: cardiopulmonary, community, dermatofunctional, sports, geriatric, hospital, neurological, neurologic ii, uro‑gynecologic, integrated seminar ii, tegumentary system.
* psicología: neuropsychological applications to behavior.
* biomedica: circuit design, biomédica pathophysiology, human development, differential equations, physical chemistry, electromagnetism.

benefits & compensation
mid‑time position. Monthly salary range $5,000 to $10,000. On‑site employment. Projected start date february 10, 2025.
