this position reports to

sales support manager


main accountabilities


manage volume incentive discount contracts

* liaise with sales to interpret and understand vid contracts signed with customers
* prepare data entry templates for programming of the vid/rebate contracts in the accrual tool to assure programming matches intent of the vid contracts.
* validate contract setup in the vid/rebate accrual tool.
* maintain overall vid program tracking list ensuring completeness of contracts.
* collaborate with finance vids analyst and finance payments analyst in understanding vid payment deductions to ensure that they are applied to the correct programs.
* support future development needs for the vid/rebate accrual tool based on understanding of contract requirements and upcoming program changes.
* work with it to develop templates to capture contract requirements.
* monitor year-end attainment for each vid/rebate program participant.
* maintain updated storage site for all contracts.


volume incentive discount reporting

* track performance and communicate status of participating distributors against vid programs, special marketing programs and other rebate programs to ensure entitlement calculations in the vid/rebate tool are understood and can be explained to stakeholders.
* coordinate and validate information prepared by the finance vids analyst and finance sales analyst for internal stakeholders and participating distributors/buying groups as required by the vid agreements.


volume incentive discount program management

* support creation of new incentive programs as required by the business.
* oversee modelling of costs of all vid and other rebate programs (supported by the sales analyst) to accurately reflect potential costs, updating models as forecasts change and new annual budgets are built.
* coordinate with product management to ensure products included in the annual vid/rebate programs are accurate.


other

* validate distributor and buying group data in various erp systems.


qualifications

* bachelor’s degree in a related field
* full proficiency in english and spanish
* 5+ years of relevant experience
* strong communication and collaboration skills
* excellent detail-oriented analytical skills
* comfortable working with large amounts of data
* appropriate accounting and/or finance education or experience
* mastery of microsoft excel and proficiency with powerpoint required
* powerbi proficiency preferred
