The data governance enablement analyst is a hands-on role responsible for configuring, scaling, and driving adoption of the enterprise data catalog and governance workflows using atlan. This role acts as the connective tissue between business data stewards, analytics users, and data engineering teams—ensuring data is discoverable, trusted, well-defined, and governed at the point of use.
required qualifications
3 to 5 years of experience in data governance, data enablement, analytics enablement, or data operations
hands-on experience configuring or administering atlan (or similar platforms such as collibra, alation, informatica)
strong understanding of modern data stacks (cloud data warehouses/lakehouses, bi tools)
practical experience with business glossaries, metadata, lineage, and stewardship models
ability to work directly with both business and technical stakeholders
preferred qualifications
experience supporting databricks, snowflake, power bi, ssrs, tableau, or looker
familiarity with data quality, privacy, or regulatory concepts (pii, phi, npi, hipaa, glba, etc.)
exposure to apis, sql, python, or metadata automation
experience supporting enterprise data governance frameworks (cdmc, dmbok, internal standards)
