your role
as a sales engineer – transformer, you will be the face of our product offerings, engaging directly with customers to understand their technical needs and delivering tailored transformer solutions. You'll play a key role in both the sales process and post-sales support, building long-term relationships with clients and ensuring their satisfaction.
what you'll do:
- drive sales: identify new business opportunities, expand existing customer relationships, and meet/exceed sales targets for transformers.
- provide technical expertise: offer in-depth knowledge of transformer products and solutions, ensuring customers get the best fit for their needs.
- prepare proposals & quotes: develop customized quotations, pricing, and technical proposals for clients.
- customer relations: cultivate long-term relationships with clients, ensuring after-sales support and troubleshooting as needed.
- market insights: stay updated on the latest industry trends, competitor products, and customer demands to effectively position our offerings.
what we're looking for:
educational background: bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
experience: 2-5 years of experience in sales or engineering, preferably within the transformer, electrical, or power equipment sector.
skills:
- strong technical knowledge of transformer specifications, types (distribution, power, etc.), and applications.
- proficient in ms office and crm systems (e.g., salesforce).
- excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
travel: willingness to travel to client sites as required.
