Role overview we are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially-minded accounting & operations manager to build and maintain rigorous financial controls while keeping day-to-day business operations running smoothly. Based in mexico city, this person will serve as the operational backbone of the mexico office — partnering with sales, logistics, and leadership to ensure financial accuracy, sat compliance, and operational efficiency across the country. Key responsibilities accounting & finance • manage full-cycle accounting: ap/ar, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and monthly close. • prepare financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses for leadership review. • oversee tax filings, statutory compliance, and liaise with external auditors and advisors. • monitor cash flow, manage budgeting cycles, and provide forecasting input. • establish and enforce internal controls and financial policies across the regional entity. Operations • coordinate order management processes between sales, warehouse, and logistics teams. • manage office administration, vendor relationships, and procurement for operational supplies. • support hr administration: onboarding, payroll input, expense claims, and record-keeping. • identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy. • act as a key liaison between the regional office and hq finance and operations teams. Requirements • bachelor's degree or above in accounting, finance, or business administration (cpa / cp preferred). • 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience in mexico; operations experience is a plus. • strong knowledge of mexican tax law, sat compliance, cfdi invoicing, and imss/infonavit obligations. • proficiency in accounting/erp software (e.g., sap, contpaqi, aspel, oracle, or equivalent). • highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines. • excellent communication skills in spanish; english proficiency is required for hq reporting. • experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial equipment sectors is preferred.
