- ensure the implementation of developmentally appropriate, play-based curriculum aligned with the school's educational philosophy.
- coordinate interdisciplinary projects, special activities, and seasonal events.
- support teachers in planning, documenting, and evaluating learning experiences.

staff supervision & professional development*
- lead and support a team of nursery teachers and assistants.
- conduct regular team meetings and provide ongoing mentoring and performance feedback.
- identify professional development needs and help facilitate relevant training.

child development & wellbeing*
- monitor the developmental progress and well-being of all children.
- support teachers in identifying and addressing individual needs, including language development, sensory regulation, and social-emotional growth.
- collaborate with specialists or external services when needed.

family communication & engagement*
- serve as the primary point of contact for nursery families.
- communicate regularly with parents about children's progress, routines, and upcoming events.
- facilitate parent meetings, workshops, and transition support for families.

administrative & operational responsibilities*
- manage nursery school schedules, enrollment transitions, and classroom ratios.
- ensure the environment is safe, clean, and well-stocked with age-appropriate materials.
- maintain records in compliance with local regulations and licensing requirements.
*qualifications*:
- degree in early childhood education, child development, or related field (required).
- minimum 3 years of experience in early childhood education, with at least 1 year in a leadership or coordinator role.
- strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
- excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- bilingual (spanish/english) preferred (or adjust depending on school).
